About the authors

Amin Sajedi

In his first job he entered the startup world with Packfood, and they took the Ahvaz market at a time when food-delivery services were not yet widespread in Tehran. After his first product-management role at Yara, he launched his own startup, Adlift. That is where much of his experience of HR for startups took shape. After testing the product, Adlift raised capital and went through rapid headcount growth, which meant learning the ins and outs of startup HR.

Amirhossein Hosseini Pazhouh

After three years of teamwork and one year managing a four-person team at a news-and-analysis site, he launched the Mibarim startup. A hundred interviews in one year, and experimenting with different hiring strategies at the lowest possible salaries, created challenges that produced a range of experience in hiring and retaining low-cost talent for startups. After that he gained further experience in team-building and launching startups, which helped him finish this book.
